EOQ Testing

We will complete reading & math Tues.-Thurs. See your test plan for make-ups and those who are involved with make-ups. Please plan accordingly.

2nd qt Writing Test (3rd & 5th)

Planning Days

Planning days are scheduled for Jan. 26th-Jan 28th. We will discuss EOQ data and discuss plans for remediation. Please come with your ideas. I will let you know when you can register.

Retention List

Remember to turn in your retention list by Jan. 25th (K-2) Mrs. Dooley (3-5) K. Scott Please don't let this come as a surprise to parents.

Spelling Bee

Classroom spelling bees should be held this week. I need one winner from each class (3-5). Please e-mail me your student's name by Wednesday afternoon. Thank you to Mrs. B and Mrs. Harwell for volunteering to help out. The spelling bee will be held at 1:00 in Mrs. B's class.

EOQ Testing

Mr. Davis e-mailed the testing plan on Friday. Please let me know if any of your students with modifications are not on the list.

ACCESS Testing

Kim and I have testing training tomorrow for our spring LEP testing. More dates & info to come.

African-American History Celebration

The committee has been hard at work and is finalizing plans for our program. Mark your calendar for Feb. 18th. We are also working on a practice schedule for the students. We are hoping to get this out to you this week. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

EOG Workshop

Thank you for sending the name of a rep. from each grade level (3-5). I am still in need of a name to rep. 2nd gr. Please go ahead and register for the workshop on line. The workshop is
Jan. 13th in the career center media center.

There is a workshop on EOG info. that will be held on Wed. Jan. 13th in the media center @ the career center. There will be one person from each grade level (2-5) that will need to attend. Please let me know by the end of the week who the representative from your grade level will be.

Classroom/School Spelling Bee

Classroom spelling bees should be held Jan. 11th-13th. Please turn the name of your class winner in to me by the end of the day Jan. 13th. The school spelling bee will be held on Jan. 14th @ 1:00. More details to come.

Progress Reports/Report Cards

Progress reports go home Wed. Jan. 13th & report cards go out Feb. 3rd. Please make sure you have touched bases with parents if you have concerns. Remember, NO SURPRISES!!!

PLC Meetings

I will drop by in the next 2 weeks to discuss preparing for an EOG BLITZ. Please brainstorm ideas among each other and be prepared to share your ideas.
